In the traditional path of Yoga, Meditation brings us to the “Harvest”
The postures of the body (asanas) and the conscious regulation of the breath (pranayama) harmonise the energies“they prepare the earth and sow the seed”.
Moving the attention away from the senses (pratyahara) and exercises of concentration (dharana) “germinate the seed and the plant grows”. In the silence of meditation (dhyana) the fruit of self- knowledge can mature. The “Harvest” (samadhi) is the final awakening of the reality of being. During this “Harvest” we recognise that the seed, the plant and the fruit are one and that the path is a “path without path”. In the end, this leads us to the place where we have always been - present in the moment.
